Is Gmail required for using DOCLINE?

Gmail is not required to use DOCLINE. If you choose to authenticate using Google, the system will use your Google account solely for secure login purposes. NLM recommends that each user sets up an individual Google account based on their existing work email address.

To create a Google account without a Gmail address, please follow these steps. Once your Google account is set up, you can link it to DOCLINE by clicking the “Apply Now” button at https://www.docline.gov, then supplying your Google account email address and your LIBID.
