What is Submission Portal GenBank?

Submission Portal GenBank (SP-GenBank) is a component of the NCBI Submission Portal used to submit assembled nucleotide sequences and associated metadata to the GenBank database.  It provides submission paths for many different data types, excluding prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomes.
